Webquest Complete!

I completed my Webquest which is appropriate for Kindergarten and First grade.

After I presented my Farm Webquest to the class, Mackenzie presented hers on the branches of government and then we did a course evaluation/

We also took the same survey that we took at the beginning of the year to see our improvements. Here is the ETSE Survey.

And for the record, Charlie was lame and must have slept in today because he wasn't in class and I am going to be a tattle tale.

Today we discussed the Webquest Assignment. You can search for a webquest here. Here is a cool example of a 3rd grade social studies webquest.

I also learned about a cool place called Thinkfinity. You can get lesson plans and games from this website.

I am going to do my webquest on Farm Animals for Kindergarten or First Grade.

We don't have class all week. I already finished the Jeopardy game and am halfway done with the Millionaire game which are both uploaded to the bottom of my google site.

Google Calendar/Action Research Project.Rubi Star

Today we made a google calendar. Here is my calendar.

We also went to the RubiStar website which is an easy rubric creator.

We then went to google docs to learn how to do an online test. When you go to creat new, you need to click on "form." Here is the form

Dashboard/File Cabinet/ Powerpoint Movie

Today we talked about Dashboard Page when creating a new page. We talked about Vozme and how you can have a computer voice read any script you want. We're also going to learn how to use File Cabinet and google sites. The Dashboard application is amazing. Here's my Dashboard.

We also talked about File Cabinet. You can upload a variety of documents to the file cabinet which is very useful and neat.

Today's skills include Learning how to further develop my Google Site.

We also talked briefly about making a movie from a powerpoint and will discuss it further next class.
